Mission Statement

Learn It, Share It, Live It…

We the members of GLFC will learn the ways of God through scripture analysis

and a commitment to study. We will share scripture(s) by spirit lead

communication, opportunities, and effective strategies. We will live a life pleasing

to Christ as examples to our families, our communities, and the body of Christ.

Our beliefs:

God:

Genesis 1:1-2

Jesus Christ:

Matthew 1:18

This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins.” John 19-20 gives the account of Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection. He is still alive!

Holy Spirit:

Luke 12:12

The definition of the Holy Spirit is God's continued presence on Earth and the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. “For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

The Bible:

2 Timothy 3:15-17

15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Salvation:

Romans 10:9

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Ministry Pillars

Discipleship :

Discipleship requires the ability to help others by sharing personal testimony, building each other up, and giving reason why you have faith in the Lord. Matthew 28:19-20Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Giving

Be faithful to your tithe, offerings, and sacrificial gifts.

Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

Growth

Become a disciple of Christ, Attendance, Life Enrichment classes and development, New member orientation Ephesians 4: 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Serving

John13:15

Jesus sets an example for us to follow. After washing His disciples' feet- an act of love, humility, and service- He encourages us to follow His lead and serve one another. "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you," Jesus says.
